That long swipe right next to play next is nice, but there should be a toggle somewhere so you can long swipe to play last. I don’t always want to play a song next when listening to music, I’d rather create a play list as I go and listen to the songs as I add them to the list.

Im considering upgrading to an 11 from a 6s plus and i love using 3d touch in apple music. Actually its the only use i have for 3d touch. Now that they are making apple music more easier to use with the pop ups. Im not worried about 3d touch being gone!

Hi 9to5 Mac, I’ve updated to iPad OS 14.5 public beta 2, I don’t see the change of the boot screen landscape logo. I’ve had it in landscape position and shut down and restarted the iPad for it to come up and it still boots in portrait. Is it only supported on new iPads. As my iPad is an iPad Air 3rd gen. Or should it be able to work on all iPad models supporting this software?

I just want Apple to roll out a software patch for the green tint on the iPhone 12’s OLED display. It’s ugly and distracting. Hopefully, this new iOS update fixes that issue.

And Apple again lagging behind, totally silent about having that feature to be available in Facetime!

@J H they don’t, the organisation (Unicode) creates standards for text encoding (including emoji encoding), and if Apple doesn’t want to conform to the latest standard, they can. But new emojis gets people talking and no one likes being the weird guy that doesn’t receive emojis right.

Why can’t apple add a feature in apple music just like spotify which add the music to the queue rather than giving options like play next/last. Adding to queue is a much better option imo.

@BreakTime101 I usually select the songs from my library. It has about 500 Songs. If I play song A and then select Song B as 'play last'. First song A play and then the rest 500 songs will play and then the song B will play. There is an app I found called 'Soor' which is way intuitive than apple music, however the app is not optimized properly for all the versions of iOS (there are some bugs here and there, still not a deal-breaker for me). Still way better than the stock app.

@Ashish Dhingra Are you trying to play the songs in order, A/B/C? When listening to song A and you want to play song B next, then song C, in that order, just select Play Last on both songs in that order, B, then C, and so forth for each song after that, Play Last. But I agree, maybe it should be relabeled to “add song to que” or something similar?

In the song I add will play after the songs I add after that so let’s say I added song A first but then I added song C and then Song B, in that case the order of playing would be B,C and then A. In spotify the feature is different. The songs will play in the exact order I add them in the queue. It’s such a simple feature which I don’t know why apple is unaware of.

Great to see a small accessibility improvement to the Apple Watch app (not highlighted in this video but part of this beta). However, every year 12 months pass between main Apple software releases and accessibility improvements rarely, if ever, happen between software releases. In contrast, other improvements such as default music streaming service, support for 10-bit HDR video playback, to name but a few, are introduced between main releases. That is a long time for disabled people to wait for new features that are so important for access and independence
